Palazzo Tossio, Sala dello Zodiaco, Via Marconi 5
The conference will present the results of field research conducted in recent years in the territory of the Unione Reno Galliera. New data will be presented from both archaeological excavations related to public and private projects, and non-invasive research carried out by the Soprintendenza per la Città metropolitana di Bologna and the archaeological volunteer association Hydria. A reconstruction proposal of the centuriation system and road network of the northern Bolognese plain will also be presented, resulting from the systematization of data from new research, with particular attention to the case studies of Bentivoglio, Castel Maggiore and San Pietro in Casale.
