On Sunday 8 November 2026, Borgonovo Val Tidone celebrates the anniversary of 4 November, National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day, with a public morning involving citizens, local associations and students of the Istituto Comprensivo. The gathering point is in Piazza Garibaldi, in front of the Monumento dei Caduti. The programme opens at 10 with the flag-raising; the procession, accompanied by the Gruppo Musicale Orione, then reaches the Collegiata for the Holy Mass in memory of the fallen of all wars. At 11.15 the parade resumes through the streets of the town, up to the laying of the Laurel Wreath at the Monumento dei Caduti and the speeches by the authorities and the schoolchildren. The initiative is organised by the Comune di Borgonovo Val Tidone and is open to the participation of citizens.
