Biblioteca Comunale di Budrio
The meeting dedicated to two female figures of 19th-century music concludes the "Madame la Musique" cycle: pianist and composer Clara Wieck Schumann and the lesser-known Giuditta Negri Pessina, singer and patron from Budrio. Speakers Mariateresa Storino and Piera Mioli retrace their lives and works, intertwining biography and repertoire. The appointment is at the Biblioteca Comunale di Budrio on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, the last stage of the journey that explored the female contribution to classical music. During the meeting, listening and readings will be proposed.
