Il pittore d'Oriente - Alberto Pasini
Teatro Verdi
Two hundred years after his birth, Busseto celebrates Alberto Pasini, one of the most important European Orientalist painters of the 19th century, with the first public screening of the docufilm "Il Pittore d'Oriente – Alberto Pasini". The film retraces the human and artistic journey of the painter from Busseto through works, documents, photographs, testimonies, and the places of his travels. The evening opens with an introduction by Paolo Serafini (artistic direction) and Mohamed Kenawi (director), followed by the screening. The event is part of the collateral events of the Verdi Festival, uniting two great 19th-century protagonists born from the same land.
