Copparo celebrates the Giornata dell'Unità Nazionale e delle Forze Armate with a ceremony in memory of the fallen of all wars. The event is scheduled for Wednesday 4 November at 17:30 in front of the Fontana Monumento ai Caduti, with the participation of civil, military and religious authorities. The programme includes the performance of the Inno d'Italia, the laying of a laurel wreath and the reading of the commemorative message. At 18:00 the commemoration moves to the Chiesa Parrocchiale SS. Pietro e Paolo, where Holy Mass is celebrated. The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Copparo, which invites citizens to take part in a moment of remembrance and gratitude towards the military personnel engaged in the defence of the country and in peace missions.
