RE-GENESI. Faces of women who changed history
Formigine (MO)
Sixteen portraits of great female figures from history, science, sports and culture take shape from industrial waste materials in the exhibition Re-Genesi, set up in the Sala degli Archi of the Castle of Formigine. The works originate from the Scart project of the Hera Group, which transforms waste into icons of resilience, combining memory, civic commitment and sustainability. The exhibition, inaugurated at the end of June, is part of the program of initiatives for the 80th anniversary of women's suffrage and remains open until September 27, 2026.

The Formigine summer lights up with two historic events: the Ludi di S. Bartolomeo and the Settembre Formiginese. Throughout the summer and autumn, the historic center of Formigine hosts a rich calendar of events, shows, and cultural initiatives. The events, which take place in August, September, and October, enliven the town's squares and streets with music, theater, entertainment, and moments of gathering for the whole community. An opportunity to experience the city and participate in events for adults and children.
Mercatini di Natale 2026

Tornano i tradizionali Mercatini di Natale a Formigine, un appuntamento imperdibile per immergersi nell'atmosfera delle feste. Il centro storico si anima con casette di legno e gazebo che offrono oggettistica artigianale a tema natalizio, creazioni originali e idee regalo. L'evento si svolge nei fine settimana che precedono il Natale, con un ricco programma di animazione pensato per coinvolgere un pubblico di tutte le età, con proposte dedicate sia agli adulti che ai più piccoli. Le iniziative si tengono in Piazza Calcagnini, via T. Trieste e nelle sale del Castello di Formigine.
