Festa di San Martino
Altedo, frazione di Malalbergo (BO)
On 11 November Altedo, a hamlet of Malalbergo, celebrates the Festa di San Martino, the feast dedicated to the saint which is observed here with an evening of community. The central moment is a fundraising dinner: people eat together and the proceeds support a charitable initiative. The cuisine is that of local tradition, with the simple and participatory tone of village festivals. Those who take part do so to enjoy company and lend a hand, on an evening that brings together the memory of Altedo's traditions and the generosity of those who sit at the table.
