La via Matildica del Volto Santo - Meet the author
Sala Civica A. Daolio, Biblioteca Comunale di Novellara
Organised by Comune di Novellara
On Saturday 7 November 2026 at 4.30 pm, the Sala Civica A. Daolio, in the Biblioteca Comunale di Novellara, hosts the presentation of the book "La via Matildica del Volto Santo. A piedi da Mantova a Lucca". The author Giordano Goccini talks about it with the audience in a meeting with free admission. The volume retraces an eleven-stage route from Mantova to Lucca, in the footsteps of Matilde di Canossa, among medieval parish churches, history and landscapes of the Apennines, up to the Crocifisso del Volto Santo. The meeting is organised by the Comune di Novellara in collaboration with the CAI di Novellara section, with readings by the Banca del Tempo di Novellara.
