On Sunday 8 November 2026 at 5 pm, the church of San Giovanni in Canale in Piacenza hosts the concert Magico Canto, an event of the Rassegna Polifonica Farnesiana. On stage are the Voci Bianche and Voci Giovanili of the Coro Farnesiano together with the Piccoli Cantori di Torino, two ensembles both founded by maestro Roberto Goitre. The concert falls within the fiftieth anniversary of the choir born in Piacenza in 1976 and places choral singing at the centre as an artistic and educational experience: musical training for children and young people, dialogue between generations and exchange between two choral schools. The initiative is organised by the Coro Polifonico Farnesiano APS ETS in collaboration with the Comune di Piacenza.
