New life for art: restoration reveals stories, artists and beauty
Pinacoteca Graziano Campanini, Via Rizzoli 4-6
From 24 October to 29 November 2026, the Graziano Campanini Art Gallery in Pieve di Cento hosts a series of initiatives linked to the restoration of three paintings: the Creation of Adam by Matteo Lovera, the Madonna and Child with Saints by Benedetto Zalune and Saint Jerome Writing by Giovanni Battista Moret. The restoration has revealed hidden details and stories, which are told through a rich programme. The calendar includes readings for families, public presentations, a community dance workshop, a performance and guided tours. Each event explores a different aspect of the restoration and the works, offering visitors the chance to discover artists and beauties usually hidden by the patina of time. Admission is free, with mandatory booking for some activities.
