Quality of Life Workshop - Citizen Science for Heat Islands
CittAttiva, Ravenna
The Municipality of Ravenna concludes the Citizen Science cycle on urban heat with a co-design workshop. For three months, volunteer citizens walked and cycled almost 1400 km and accumulated over 100 hours of measurements, producing detailed maps of heat islands. The meeting serves to read these data together and turn them into concrete, nature-based proposals to make the city more livable and resilient to climate change. The workshop is the final event of the project, open to a maximum of 25 participants with mandatory registration. Participation is free and the technological tools (sensors, trackers) are provided by the project for the duration of the sampling only.
