The Festival del Mondo Antico reaches its 27th edition with the theme Rinascite. Infinite riscoperte dell'antico (Rebirths. Infinite rediscoveries of antiquity). For a month Rimini hosts conferences and meetings on archaeology, art history, philosophy and cultural history, dedicated to how each era rereads, corrects and recirculates what it inherits from the past. The programme opens with two conferences dedicated to Giovanni Bellini, one of the leading figures of the Italian Renaissance; among the events is a meeting with Giovanni Carlo Federico Villa in dialogue with Alessandro Giovanardi. This edition runs alongside the exhibition at the Museo della Città 'Luigi Tonini', Il codice della passione.
