CIÀCAR Project: meetings on informed consent and self-determination in healthcare
Biblioteca Comunale, via Godo Vecchia 10, Russi
Organised by Comune di Russi
A series of public meetings to understand what informed consent, shared care planning and Advance Treatment Directives (DAT, the so-called living will) are, as provided for by Law 219/2017. The first appointment is in Russi on Thursday 12 November at 8 pm at the Municipal Library; followed by San Pancrazio on 18 November and Godo on 24 November. The initiative is part of the CIÀCAR project and is promoted by the Municipality of Russi, with general practitioners, researchers and students from the University of Bologna and the AUSL of Romagna. Speakers include doctors from the Casa della Comunità of Russi, councillor Eleonora Mazzoni, professor Francesca Ingravallo from the University of Bologna and representatives of Palliative Care and the demographic services of the Municipality. These are evenings to learn, ask questions and discuss a delicate topic that concerns everyone: knowing these tools means being able to make informed choices and protect one's freedom and dignity.
