The Pro Loco Riofreddo organizes a series of summer events in Riofreddo, a hamlet of Verghereto. The program includes the Sagra della Pecorina, the Paella al Parco, the Ferragosto della Sporta and a five-a-side football tournament in memory of Penna. The events take place on various dates between July and August 2026, with temporary road closures and parking bans to ensure the safety of participants.
Closure of via Santa Lucia (section intersection via Santa Rita - SP43) from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM on 10/07, 11/07, 01/08/2026. Closure of via Santa Lucia (same section) from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on 15/08/2026. Closure and parking ban in piazzetta San Francesco from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM from 20/07 to 24/07/2026. Exception for residents/frontagers at walking pace. Emergency vehicle passage guaranteed.
