Open Day degli Archivi Storici: the 1946 exhibition in Cotignola

Cotignola (RA)

Biblioteca Varoli e Archivio Storico Comunale, Corso Sforza 24

Organised by Comune di Cotignola

Open in Google Maps

On Saturday 7 November, the Archivio Storico Comunale di Cotignola, in the spaces of the Biblioteca Varoli at Corso Sforza 24, opens its doors with a guided tour of the exhibition "1946: tra manifesti e carteggi elettorali. Il referendum del 2 giugno nelle carte d'archivio". The appointment is at 10.30 and is part of the Open Day degli Archivi Storici della Bassa Romagna, the widespread calendar that until 28 November brings documents, posters and papers normally rarely seen out of the archives. The 2026 edition is dedicated to the 1946 elections, the first vote by universal suffrage and the birth of the Republic: in Cotignola the itinerary follows the traces of the election campaign and the referendum of 2 June through the papers preserved in the archive. The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Cotignola together with the other municipalities of the Bassa Romagna. Free admission.
