The "A libri aperti" series at the Biblioteca Comunale Alda Merini in Berra returns with a new author meeting. On Thursday 12 November 2026, at 4.00 pm, the Sala Civica di Berra in Via Piave 69 hosts Dario Baruffa for the presentation of the book "Non si butta via niente. Storie e ricette della cucina più vera e del quinto quarto", published by Este Edition. The volume starts from home cooking and from the recovery of the less noble parts of ingredients, the quinto quarto, between traditional recipes and family stories. A way to talk about food memory and about how people cooked when nothing was wasted. The meeting is organised by the Biblioteca Comunale Alda Merini di Berra with Open Group and the Comune di Riva del Po, with free admission.
