From June to September, Parco Augusto Daolio hosts a regular appointment for those who want to keep fit outdoors. Every Wednesday, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, an operator from ASD Gente in Movimento leads training sessions combining walking and gym equipment, with exercises of progressive intensity. The activity is designed for all ages and abilities, with no barriers to entry: participation is completely free. An opportunity to combine physical well-being and socializing in a shared green space.
Festa Internazionale della Storia 2026 – “Il tempo del Mercante a Borgo”

From September 3 to November 11, 2026, the Festa Internazionale della Storia returns to Fidenza, this year with the title "Il tempo del Mercante a Borgo". Fifteen events including conferences, narrative paths, reenactments and shows tell the transformation of Borgo San Donnino in the second half of the 14th century, under the Visconti lordship. The program focuses on the figure of the merchant and the urban evolution of the city, with evening meetings in the courtyard of the Palazzo Municipale and at the Museo del Risorgimento L. Musini. Among the most anticipated events are the historical lantern procession in Piazza Garibaldi (September 29), the "Passamano di mille pani" for schools in Piazza Duomo (October 2) and the fire show "Fuochi magici" (October 4). The series also touches places in the area: the Castello di Bargone hosts a historical narrative path, while a conference is scheduled in Castione Marchesi at the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta. On October 17, the Palazzo Municipale hosts the awarding of the Premio Don Amos Aimi.
33rd Autumn Festival
Faenza (RA)
The Autumn Festival returns to Pieve Cesato for its 33rd edition, organized by the Circolo Campagnolo. For six days, from Wednesday 23 to Monday 28 September 2026, the hamlet of Faenza comes alive with a festival combining Romagna cuisine and entertainment for all ages. The food stand offers the classics of local tradition: fried gnocco, strozzapreti al nodo and roast lamb on the spit, prepared according to the usual recipes. The programme changes every evening, alternating live music, cover bands, Romagna dances and a dialect comedy. The show area is heated and equipped with chairs. Games are provided for children and there is a raffle with prizes for everyone. Admission is free, food and drinks are paid and a large car park welcomes visitors.
Free trial lessons of Argentine tango with Emiliano Fernandez and Matilda Chinarello
Ferrara (FE)
Starting in September, Argentine tango courses begin in Ferrara with teachers Emiliano Fernandez and Matilda Chinarello. To introduce the discipline, on Wednesday 23 and Saturday 26 September 2026, two free trial lessons are scheduled at the venue in Via Ippodromo 12. Regular courses will start in October, open to all levels.
DIG Festival 2026 – Festival del giornalismo d'inchiesta

DIG Festival is an international event dedicated to investigative journalism, documentary filmmaking, and reportage, held in Modena. Mettiti in gioco - Giochi per allenare la memoria

For the occasion, the road will be closed to traffic on the evenings of September 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, and 29, and for the whole day of September 27.

From 23 to 27 September 2026, the hamlet of Montegelli (Sogliano al Rubicone) renews the ancient Feast of the Madonna del Rosario, a devotion rooted in the 16th century, alongside the Sagra del Savor. The programme alternates religious moments (Holy Mass and procession on Thursday 24 and Sunday 27) with popular events: the traditional briscola tournament, the comedy show by Sergio Sgrilli, dance evenings with orchestras and live music. The food stand offers traditional Romagna dishes with free tastings. There is a charity market, the peasant exhibition “La Casa dei Ricordi”, children's games and prize draws. Free entry, covered dance floor even in case of rain.
Fiera di San Matteo 2026

The traditional Fiera di San Matteo takes place in Gattatico with the amusement park in Piazza A. Cervi and the weekly market temporarily relocated to via Libertà. Related events include the 48th Marcialonga di Taneto, held on Sunday, September 27, with start and finish in the town center. To ensure the smooth running of the events, temporary changes to traffic and parking are planned on the affected roads. The fair is a historic appointment for the community, with attractions for families and stalls. It is recommended to use peripheral parking lots and to follow the temporary signage.

The Settembre Copparese is a cultural event that enlivens the center of Copparo from September 23 to 29, 2026. The event includes initiatives and appointments in Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Libertà and Via Roma, transforming the heart of the city into an open-air stage. For the occasion, a traffic ban for all vehicles (except authorized ones) and a permanent parking ban with tow-away zone are established on the affected street, from 2:00 PM on 23 September until 12:00 PM on 30 September.

The 77th edition of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana brings to Rimini a rich program of classical and contemporary music, from September 1st to October 30th. Major orchestras, conductors, soloists and international performers appear in evocative venues such as the Teatro Galli and other cultural spaces of the city. The program ranges from chamber music to symphonic works, with meetings, special projects and sound experiments.

The Women Environmentalists Association (ADA) organizes in Parma the outreach initiative "The Universe Unveiled – Worlds and Anti-Worlds. New Foundations of Physics - Rhythms, golden ratio, origins of life, antifragility". The conference addresses frontier scientific topics, from particle physics to the foundations of life.

Photographic exhibition "In ponta d'pi"

The Museo Civico delle Cappuccine in Bagnacavallo reopens to the public after a year of closure for system renovation works, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Centro Culturale delle Cappuccine. The photographic exhibition "In ponta d'pi" presents works by 15 photographers from Romagna and will be open from September 24, 2026 to January 10, 2027. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog and an extensive promotional campaign in local and national newspapers.
